1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Ibarra's Auto Repair ("we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to our website, digital estimate portals, and automotive repair services located at 3000 Luisa Ln, Alvarado, TX 76009. By scheduling an appointment, dropping off a vehicle, or digitally authorizing a repair, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Repair Authorizations & Digital Estimates (Texas Compliance)
In accordance with Texas automotive repair standards, no repair work exceeding the initially agreed diagnostic or service scope will be performed without prior customer authorization.
- Digital Approval: Approvals made through our digital inspection portal (clicking "Authorize", electronic signature, or explicit text confirmation) carry the legal weight of a written physical signature.
- Supplemental Estimates: If additional defects, wear, or damaged parts are discovered during teardown or servicing, a supplemental video inspection and estimate will be provided for your review prior to proceeding.
- Operation Authorization: By leaving your vehicle, you grant our technicians permission to operate the vehicle on public highways, streets, and parking lots for the purpose of testing, diagnosis, and post-repair quality assurance.
3. SMS Text Messaging Terms & Conditions
When you provide your mobile phone number to Ibarra's Auto Repair, you consent to receive automated transactional text messages (SMS) related directly to your vehicle's appointments, diagnostic status updates, video inspections, estimates, and billing notifications.
- Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on service milestones and appointment schedules.
- Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
- Opt-Out: You may cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP in response to any message. After sending STOP, we will send one final confirmation SMS, and no further automated text messages will be sent unless re-authorized.
- Help: For support or questions regarding text messaging, reply with the keyword HELP or call (817) 404-6306.
- Privacy: Mobile subscriber information and opt-in consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
4. Payments, Texas Taxes & Mechanics Liens

- Payment Methods: We accept major credit/debit cards processed securely via PCI-compliant payment gateways, as well as cash and authorized digital payments.
- Taxes: All parts, materials, and applicable shop supplies are subject to Texas State and local sales tax. Pure diagnostic and automotive repair labor is billed according to applicable state tax codes.
- Mechanic's Lien: Pursuant to Chapter 70 of the Texas Property Code, an express mechanic's lien is acknowledged on the vehicle to secure the amount of repairs, diagnostic labor, and parts provided. We reserve the right to retain possession of the vehicle until all authorized charges are satisfied.

5. Parts, Labor Warranty & Personal Property Disclaimer
- Warranty: Workmanship and standard replacement parts installed by Ibarra's Auto Repair carry a standard 12-month or 12,000-mile limited warranty (whichever occurs first), unless explicitly noted otherwise on your invoice. Warranty does not cover customer-supplied parts, racing/off-road abuse, or commercial neglect.
- Personal Property: We are not responsible for loss of or damage to any personal items, tools, valuables, or aftermarket accessories left in the vehicle. Please remove all personal belongings prior to drop-off.
- Unforeseen Casualties: We maintain commercial garage liability insurance but are not liable for vehicle loss or damage resulting from natural acts, hail, fire, vandalism, or burglary beyond reasonable control.
